Located about 11 miles southwest of the center of Austin, this wildflower center spans more than 12 acres, includes two miles of hiking trails, and exhibits upwards of 650 species of flowers. Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center is a must see for all the nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts in the area!
Eeyore’s Birthday Party
For those in Austin around April who enjoy the lighter side of the city, Eeyore’s birthday party is a free event that celebrates the lovable character from Winnie the Pooh. In 2015 they celebrated their 52nd annual birthday party and plan to continue for many years to come. There is live music, face painting, and they ask that all visitors wear a costume! In addition, the profits raised from the food vendors are donated to nonprofit organizations such as the American Red Cross and Boy Scouts among many others.

For example, the ARRCM collection includes the original “Ghostbuster’s” Cadillac and cars that were previously owned by John Lennon and President Kennedy!
