Plan a Field Trip at the Austin Aquarium

Field Trips

The Austin Aquarium field trips provide augmented, age-specific teachings for pre- and post-visit study for Austin area PreK – College students.

The Austin Aquarium hopes to inspire a new generation of ocean explorers and conservationists from the Austin area through education and shared experience with live animals in order to create an ever expanding appreciation for our planet’s oceans.  The experience will instill respect and awe for marine life and the rich aquatic resources of our planet’s wetter 78%.  Students will expand their understanding of our ecosystems as they engage all five senses for maximized learning.

The newest attraction to Austin with over 30 exhibits and more than 2500 animal species! Come interact with sharks, stingrays, sea jellies, octopuses, birds, reptiles, amphibians, fascinating tropical and cold water fish, and so much more!

What Are People Saying About Field Trips at the Aquarium?

See What They Are Saying..

The kids loved the tour and the sponsors seemed to enjoy it also. I believe we may be looking at making this our annual First Grade field trip. Thank you so much for all your help and patience with me. It was a wonderful experience. …..First Grade, Elementary School

My staff & I attended with 30 kids (ages 4-12) for an after-school field trip. The Austin Aquarium is a small well designed space with huge potential. Our tour guides were knowledgeable and met the kids on their level providing a unique learning opportunity. Each had their favorite exhibit & all enjoyed the day. We will be back. Thank you Austin Aquarium! ……..Anonymous

Our second graders absolutely LOVED the aquarium! The staff is highly educated and the trip was super structured! We will definitely be back! ……Anonymous
